A festively fun time was had by all at our winemaker event and holiday party on Thursday. To start out the tasting experience, guests were treated to new releases from rock star winemaker and past employee, Matt Duffy. Matt's offerings included: his ever popular Rose '13 (including a little taste of his yet to be released '14 straight out of the barrel that morning!), new addition Sauvignon Blanc '13, the always delicious Russian River '13 and single vineyard Suacci '13 Pinot Noirs and last but not least, his dark and silky Syrah '12. Guests then moved to the upstairs art gallery to sample from Rocca Family's blockbuster reds.

The evening's featured wines included their gorgeous Grigsby Vineyard Estate Cabernet '10 and Syrah '09, as well as their Proprietary Red Blend '10. They even let us get our hands on a very limited and exclusive Grigsby Vineyard Vertical of '07, '08 & '09 Cabernet with only a few left for those of you who weren't able to make it here.. first come first serve! Christmas music played as guests sipped and shopped til they dropped! For those of you of who were unfortunately unable to make the event and out of the Christmas Spirit, we are extending our one-night-only pricing only through Christmas! Some great deals below.

Rosé of Pinot Noir '13: Reg: $20/Holiday: $18 
Full of brambly blackberry and peach, with a minty kick to finish, this show stopper gave a glimmer of warm summer memories to our guests on a cold winter night.

Sauvignon Blanc '13: $20/Holiday: $18
The grapes for this inaugural vintage of Vaughn Duffy's newest addition are sourced from 40 year old vines from the Russian River. A beautiful balance of crisp acidity and ripe tropical fruit.

Pinot Noir Russian River Valley '13: Reg: $42/Holiday: $38 
The wine shows the classic bing cherry, raspberry and cola aromatics associated with the Russian River Valley. The flavors on the palate snap to life. Wine with energy.

Pinot Noir Suacci Vineyard '13: Reg: $48/Holiday: $43 
Another guest favorite, this is perfect wine for a winter evening. Intensely complex and bold dark fruit flavors mingle with notes of spice in the glass.
