The new vintage of
"The Offering"
by Sans Liege Winery
has been released!
Since
we first discovered this Rhône blend four years ago, the Offering has
become a top seller at Bacchus & Venus. In fact, Curt Schalchlin's
flagship wine from Santa Barbara County has created a cult following
among wine enthusiasts across the country. Each year the wine disappears
from our shelves quicker than the last. Stock your cellar now with a
few cases before it sells out!
"Impressively
made as well as realistically priced wines have emerged from Sans
Liege over recent vintages, and all offerings merit attention." -Robert Parker
Normally $34/bottle
$30/bottle when you order 6 or more
$28/bottle when you order a case or more
$336 for a case of this amazing wine - what a steal!
The wine will be ready to ship October 21.
48% Grenache, 29% Syrah, 21%
Mourvedre, 2% Viognier
The 2011 Offering is a window into another world. Expansive on the palate with dark aromatics. Earthen scents of black soil, crushed oyster shell and birch beer. The fragrance of kirsch, quince paste, Red Delicious apple skin and tea emerge. You can taste hints of bay leaf, Porcini Mushroom, peppercorn and fresh herbs. |
